When Customers Search, Who Do They Find?

Someone searching for an MOT, brake repair or mobile mechanic nearby is already looking to book. If another business appears first and looks trustworthy, it gets the first chance at the job.

We make sure Google and AI tools can clearly understand what you do, where you work and why customers choose you, so more of the people searching for those jobs find your business.

How it works

A Complete Strategy for Every
Way Customers Search.

SEO is built into every Stellix website, from the initial strategy and page structure to the content, local presence and technical foundations. We then constantly strengthen how your business appears across Google, Maps and AI search.

SEO Strategy

Strong SEO starts with understanding how customers search and where competitors are already winning. We analyse demand, intent, ranking difficulty and content gaps across the services and areas you cover, creating a clear plan for the pages most likely to generate enquiries.

Content Optimisation

Ranking for a service requires a page that closely matches what the customer is searching for. We combine search intent, internal linking, metadata, automotive expertise, reviews and real job examples to improve visibility and turn more visits into enquiries.

Local SEO and Google Maps

Appearing in Maps depends on Google seeing consistent evidence that your business is relevant, established and genuinely local. We align your website and Google Business Profile, clean up citations, support review growth and build relevant local links to strengthen your local rankings.

Technical SEO

Search engines need to find, process and understand every important page. We review site architecture, crawlability, indexation, redirects, metadata, schema, accessibility, mobile performance and Core Web Vitals to remove technical barriers that could hold your website back.

AI Search Optimisation

AI tools need clear, consistent evidence before they can connect a business with a local recommendation. We strengthen entity information, topical coverage, structured data, first-hand expertise and third-party references so your business has a stronger chance of being recommended.

Ongoing SEO Support

Search results change as competitors improve, customer behaviour shifts and search platforms update. We monitor rankings, Search Console data, technical health, competitors and resulting enquiries, then use those findings to improve content, fix issues and act on new opportunities.

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know from strategy to implementation.

Still have Questions?

How long does SEO take to start working?

There isn’t a set number of weeks because every business starts from a different place.

If your website already has some authority and Google understands what you do, improvements can come sooner. If the site is new, technically weak or competing in a tough area, it usually takes longer.

We’ll show you where you stand at the start, what we think the biggest opportunities are and what we’re working on first.

What do you actually do for SEO?

It’s a lot more than adding keywords to a few pages. We look at how people search for your services, what competitors are ranking for, how the website is structured, what each page says, your Google Business Profile, local signals, technical issues and where there are gaps worth going after.

The aim is to make it very clear to Google what you do, where you do it and which searches your business should be showing up for.

Can you help us rank in Google Maps too?

Yes. Maps is a big part of local search for automotive businesses.

We look at your website and Google Business Profile together, along with things like citations, reviews and other local signals that help Google understand that you’re established and relevant in the area you serve.

What’s AI Search?

People are starting to ask tools like ChatGPT, Gemini and Google’s AI features for recommendations instead of only typing a search into Google.

There isn’t a magic switch that gets a business recommended. What we can do is make the information about your business clearer and more consistent across your website and the wider web, so these systems have better evidence to understand who you are, what you specialise in and where you operate.

Do we need a separate page for every service?

Not necessarily. Sometimes a dedicated page makes sense because people search for that service separately and there’s enough demand behind it. Other times it would just create another thin page saying much the same thing.

We look at how customers search first, then build the site structure around the opportunities that are worth targeting.

Can you target more than one town or area?

Yes, where it makes sense. If you genuinely serve several towns, we can look at how people search across those areas and where separate location targeting is worth doing.

That doesn’t mean churning out dozens of near-identical town pages. We’d rather build useful pages around places you genuinely work in than create filler just for SEO.

What if my website already ranks for some things?

We don’t want to throw away something that’s already working.

The first job is understanding what visibility you already have, which pages are performing and where the gaps are. From there, we can strengthen what’s working and focus the new work where there’s more room to grow.

What does technical SEO mean?

It’s the behind-the-scenes stuff that can make it easier or harder for Google to understand the site.

That includes things like site structure, indexing, redirects, metadata, structured data, mobile performance and Core Web Vitals.

You don’t need to know how any of it works. The point is simply to make sure technical problems aren’t holding otherwise good pages back.

Do reviews help with SEO?

They can be an important part of your local presence, particularly around Google Maps.

But we don’t look at reviews in isolation. They sit alongside your Google Business Profile, website, citations, local links and the wider evidence Google has about the business.

What happens once the website and initial SEO work are done?

We keep an eye on what’s changing.

That means looking at rankings, Search Console data, technical issues, competitors and the enquiries coming through. If a new opportunity appears, a page starts slipping or something isn’t working as expected, we’ve got something useful to act on rather than just leaving the site untouched for years.

Can you guarantee first-page rankings?

No. Nobody controls Google’s results, competitors keep working on their own sites and search results change all the time. What we can do is build the site properly, target searches that make sense for the business and keep improving it based on what the data shows.

How do I know whether the SEO is doing anything?

Rankings matter, but they’re not the only thing we look at.

We want to know whether more of the right people are finding the business and whether that visibility is turning into enquiries. So the ongoing work looks at search visibility alongside Search Console data, competitors and the enquiries coming through.

What’s included in the free SEO audit?

We’ll look at how easily your business can currently be found across Google, Maps and AI search, and where the obvious gaps or opportunities are.

It gives you a clearer picture of where you stand before deciding whether you want us to do anything about it.
